Defence Communications Industry is an Australian company
dedicated to the design and development of specialised communications equipment
.
Formed in 1999, DCI collaborated closely with the Australian
Department of Defence in designing a portable communications system for
use in Army's field deployed networks and command and control extensions.
The result is a new concept in portable field communications
that is setting new standards in field deployed data and voice communications,
general C3 comms, industrial and emergency applications - wherever flexible
rapidly established communications are essential.
In addition to specialised communications design, the
company provides expert hands on training and support for its customers.
DCI alliances with major Defence Industry partners
can deliver a total solution in Field
Deployed Logistics Management(as used by the Australian Army - FLMS
and where DCI equipment plays integral role).
As an active AFCEA member (Armed Forces Communications
and Electronics Association), the company has contributed papers at many
specialty industry forums in Australia and internationally. Copies of these
papers can be uploaded from Press and Publications.
